HUMAN BEINGS WE ARE UNIQUE BEINGS: WE WRITE, WE PINT, WE CREATE, WE BUILD, WE IDEAM, WE THINK, AND WE DO IMPORTANT QUESTIONS AS; WHAT IS THE ORIGIN OF THE UNIVERSE?, WHERE DO WE COME FROM?, WHAT PURPOSE DOES LIFE HAVE, AND WHAT DOES THE FUTURE PROVIDE?.
Having a true purpose in life means having a reason to live, clear goals and something to fight for. Is that possible? Of course. The fact that we are endowed with intelligence, conscience and reasoning shows that the Creator had a definite purpose for us: He put us on Earth for something. Therefore, only those who live according to the purpose of the Creator can find true purpose in life.
The Bible reveals to us that God's purpose for man encompasses many things. For example, we know that God loves us selflessly, as evidenced by the wonderful design of the human body (Psalm 40: 5, 139: 14). Therefore, if we want to live according to the divine purpose, we have to imitate God and love others selflessly (1 John 4: 7-11). Another thing we also have to do is obey his commandments (Ecclesiastes 12:13, 1 John 5: 3).
Let's see now what else encompasses God's purpose for the human being. He wants us to take good care of ourselves and our families, both physically and spiritually. Now, we need balance so that material interests do not eclipse the spiritual interests, which are the most important (Matthew 4: 4, 6:33).
Unfortunately, many people focus their life almost entirely on acquiring material things. But it is not sensible to think that material things can satisfy all our needs. A recent survey among Asian millionaires reveals that many of them "live worried and do not feel safe despite the social position and the sense of achievement that their wealth has given them" (Ecclesiastes 5:11).
Make your life keep moving forward Living a life with purpose does not necessarily mean that we have to change the world. We do not need to have the best job with the highest salary, the most beautiful house or the most luxurious goods. It's about living a life that makes sense. It's about living a life that has some meaning.
I give you some important points to follow that will help you to have that life with a purpose:
-Place your life in the hands of God.
-Ora, prayer fills your life with ideas, and wisdom.
Christians are blessed to have received the saving knowledge of the Word of God and to have the hope of eternal life (John 17: 3). But never take for granted "the undeserved kindness of God and let [us] fulfill his purpose" (2 Corinthians 6: 1). Rather, let us praise Jehovah all the days of our life. We spread the knowledge that brings us true happiness now and that will allow us to achieve eternal life. In doing so, we will see how true these words of Jesus are: "There is more happiness in giving than in receiving" (Acts 20:35). And finally we will have found the true purpose of life.
