The wise have wealth and luxury, but fools spend whatever they get. Proverbs 21:20
Are you critical of you money? Your spending and saving? Where your money goes and how expenditure in totality? The word of God tells us today that he who has no self-control may be considered a fool, such an individual may purchase whatever his body yearns for without taking time to think about the consequences of the future or how it may affect his financial status in the long run. Such individual doesn’t think into the future and prefers to live in the moment, and most often than not regrets later on.
There are ways one may set himself or herself up for success so that he or she does not spend all that may he may get. Learn to set aside money for savings and tithing immediate your paycheck hits your account. Then, live of the rest, don not spend it until it almost done before you want to put some aside, because when that happens that probability you would be able to do so it less, the reason been that it is left with small amount and you may not be able to survive without it. This will also result in excuses to Lord which will also result in you not paying your tithe.
Remember that over time, habits and routine can build our self-control muscle, Start now, be diligent and committed to yourself and to the Lord and everything will work out for your good. Stay blessed
