THAT PREVENT THE CORRECT INTERPRETATION OF THE BIBLE?
God wants us to interpret the Bible in the same way, to be of the same mind and of one mind (1 Corinthians 1:10, Philippians 2: 2), because God himself wants the unity of his people, He does not want we live confused, for many the interpretation of the Bible as God desires is more difficult to achieve than for others, of course this depends on his spiritual and devicional life.
We remember that the Bible is the word of God so its revelation depends on the Holy Spirit, we must pray to God to reveal to us the mysteries of the word.
Let's look at some factors that prevent the whole world from looking at the Bible as God wants us to look and interpret it:
THE PRACTICE OF SIN
This factor is the greatest that has contributed to the whole world and even the church in general not interpreting the Bible as God desires. If I am in sin, I will not look at the Bible as
God wishes, why? Because I do not want to accept my mistake, remember that the Bible is a mirror that shows us those things that we must correct.
LACK OF DESIRE AS TO WANT TO DO THE WILL OF GOD.
Those who do not want to do the will of God will never look at the Word of God as God wishes, many do not love God and therefore do not keep his commandments, given that there is a lack of desire to do God's will and this even It can lead you to not consult the bible in a situation where you need help.
LACK OF STUDY OF THE BIBLE:
Many do not know God's will correctly because they have not studied it, they are deceived into believing a lie
because they have not studied the Bible.
The lack of study brings serious consequences:
- It leads to perdition (Hosea 4: 6)
- It takes us into captivity (Isaiah 5: 1)
