God is not affair driven.
Rather, he is seeking for relationships.
He is always seeking.
Hence, christianity is not man searching for God but God seeking for man.
The father seeks such; those who will worship him in spirit and in truth.
Narrowing this down to our physical or emotional relationships: a relationship is said to exist when two or more people come together with a common vision and each others interests at heart.
Most especially, the kind of relationship that leads to marriage.
Unlike the relationship, people get to like each other at first sight or try to have a carnal knowlegde of the other. This i term 'affair'. And perhaps, after such act the partner, one of them or both, may or may not be interested in continuing.
In the same vein, God doesn't want us to just get whatever we are looking for and just dash out. He wants us to stay, bond together, grow and love genuinely.
Even in this sober/celebration season of death of Jesus, we can step up our game in seeking for relationship with Jesus Christ.
