1 Corinthians 15:58(NLT)
"When her owners realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities. They brought them before the magistrates and said, “These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproar by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice.” The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods. After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks."(Acts 16:19-24)
Brethren, at we will be discouraged in an attempt of pursuing God's work, many attacks may come your way, that if you do not stand firm you will leave God's work. But whatever be the case, do not lose hope, for you never walk alone, you always walk with the angels of God who always guide and protect you. The troubles that one can face after leaving God's work is more than the troubles that one faces when doing God's work. God knows everyone's troubles in the cause of following him, but He will deliver him/her in good time.
"Do not fret because of those who are evil
or be envious of those who do wrong;
for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.
Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun."(Psalm 37:1-6)
Look up to God alone in faith and boldness, and pray all the time. He will guide you from your enemies and lead you everywhere you go. God always fight for you as He fought for the Israelites in forty years journey on the desert. The only thing you need to do is pursue service without any hindrance. Thank you for you time being with me, may God richly bless you, Amen!
