We really know that apart from God being protector, our guide and refuge in this life one of the best ways that save is from all dangers in life is to walk and act in the righteous way. Living in righteous or upright manner saves us from many thing. In the Book of Psalm 34:19(KJV), it says that: "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivered him out of them all." All the forces surrounding us fight against the righteousness of being right, but through right he is saved.
Being righteous open our minds in all things, help us to acquire wisdom to gain many good things in which we are not sure of getting them. So, the Bible says 'seek first the Kingdom of God and all will be added unto you." The precious and vital thing that enable us to seek the Kingdom of God is being righteous. So all those who live in upright life will get the Kingdom of God. Before we will get the things that will be added unto us, is to gain wisdom from God. That is why King Solomon sought for wisdom first, but not money, because he saw that when the wisdom is acquired through having the wisdom, money would be easy to get.
In this life or World too, our uprightness preserve us from so many things which could have ruined our lives, our physical strength do not count. But our righteousness help us to gain wisdom and many experiences in this living. Even when the enemy tries to pull us back, because of our rigjteousness we have preserved it gives us that kind of wisdom to make our way through.
Proverbs 14:1-6
"The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands. He who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord, But he who is perverse in his ways despises Him. In the mouth of a fool is a rod of pride, But the lips of the wise will preserve them. Where no oxen are, the trough is clean; But much increase comes by the strength of an ox. A faithful witness does not lie, But a false witness will utter lies."
