Dear fellowship in Christ I greet you all. You are welcomed to today's devotion.
We are still waiting as followers of Christ, for the promises that our Lord Jesus Christ gave us, that He is going to prepare a place for us and come back to take us that we all celebrate in his glory. Beloved, many signs have been revealed to us during this end times whiles we keep waiting for Christ. Sometimes we tend to forget some of these occurrences which are common to experience. So, we become worried why some people are engaging themselves in such acts. But Apostle Paul through the 2 Book to the Timothy's repeated what we should expect as other Scriptures have revealed to us.

"But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungreatful, unholy,....."(2 Timothy 3:1-2)
All these things and many other prevalences that Timothy mentioned, and we are aware that they are happening in our lives currently. Apostle Paul is drawing our attention to some of these things taking place in our time. Many people are arrogant, disobedient and lovers of money. Our attention is to make money by any means that we can get money irrespective of the consequences that will come. This shouldn't be strange to us when we find our friends in such acts. Because whatever God has said should come to pass.
It is very imperative to be vigilant not to be victims of such acts, but they are inevitable in human's lifestyle, will surely come as the Bible have revealed that in the last days these difficult times will come. Now, what makes it difficult is, if we do not take most the Christians that God has chosen would be deceived because many obstacles beyond our control. When that happens our duties Christians are to strengthens our prayers and keeping our faith in Lord God to guide us. We shouldn't forget sharing word of God with our friends and families.
We should therefore hold the word of God as our armour as Apostle Paul said, and handle our faith in God unlimited. Thanks very much and have a blessed Sunday.
