Peace be to all steemchurch parishioners . Today , you and I shall talk about the topic titled
"How Believers Can Have The Mind Of God". Yea , you may want to ask, is it even possible for believers to have the mind of God?. Oh yes you can absolutely. We were created sin God's image and likeness and therefore that means we think like Him , we act like Him, in deeds and in actions , we are like Him.
It is also means we won't take decisions God will not be happy about . God cannot be in us and we will be going the wrong way because if we really have His mind , then all we put our hands into shall be prosperous.
Having the Mind of God means that we never ridicule others but see the very best in people. It means that we have a very pure and jealous free Hearts that forgives people IRRESPECTIVE of the extent of the offence,. It means that we have the mind to forget about all the trials and challenges we have faced and are facing and forging on as well as having absolute belief and faith in God.
Satan is moving up and down lying seriously without remorse but it is only having the mind of Christ that will save us from these lies. The mind of God helps us to discern between good and evil. It makes us to know that the direction we are taking is not the right path. It enables us understand that God is a loving father and He cannot allow us to put our hands into hot fireš„.
Having the mind of God enables us to appreciate the beauty of the creation of God. It makes us to appreciate and become grateful for the life that God has given us and enables us to utilize life in the best possible way.
Having the mind of God makes us to appreciate and see the importance of coming close to God and having constant fellowship with Him. To God, we are His children and His friends and what He desires is constant fellowship with Him. You may never realize this if you don't have the mind of God. God is God because He has the power to control His mind. So also in relations, the Bible tells us that we are gods on Earth. This means that we also have the power to control our minds. But first, we must have the mind of God to be able to have that ability. Isaiah 55 vs 8-9 says;
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,ā says the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
Basically, for us to be able to fully have the mind of God , we need to first state by researching on God. By research here I mean that we need to get to know God fully. We need to know what He loves , what He doesn't like at all, the things He can behold and the things He can't behold, His food........Yea food. GOD inhabits the praises of His People. It's His food....hahaha Hallelujah.
Therefore without wasting time, let's head to some few points on how we can have the mind of Christ.

Firstly and most importantly, we must get to know God in and out. How can we take on this approach will be the next question you will want to ask. And the answer is coming right your way. The only way we can achieve this is by reading all the books that have been written about Him. Take the Bible and voraciously consume it. Yea consume is over and over again. Get the word of God to stick to soul spirit and body. After doing this , get books written by anointed men of God about God and seriously consume them. By the time you are done with this process, you are on your way to having the mind of Christ. The book of Mathew chapter 4 vs 4 says;
Jesus answered, āIt is written: āMan shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God
Yea even Jesus had to read all the books that were written of Him to conquer the devil when he came around tempting God.

Secondly, we must start learning to think the way God thinks. After consuming God's words, you now have perfect knowledge of who God is and your rights as a child of God. Then you begin to build on God's word for your life. At this stage you can now discern between what God loves and what God will not like. At this point you will be very concious of the decisions you make.
Every step of the way, you can now cross-check the decisions you are making using God's word and trust me , if you continue in that step, you are on your way to victory.
Thirdly, we must pay rapt attention to the instructions and leading of God through the help of the Holyspirit. Often times , God will be telling us somethings and because you are not paying attention to Him that moment, you might just be missing out on the blessings of God either in the immediate in the long run. John 16 vs 23 says that;
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come
What then happens when you don't have the Holyspirit?. The truth shall be revealed to you through the Help of the Holyspirit and therefore we must pay attention fully what God is saying at every point in time.

Fourthly, ensure you check mate everything you hear and make sure it coincides with what the word of God is saying. Sometimes we believe people too much and we tend to follow whatever they say because it is coming from them probably because they are your pastors or Reverend's. Whatever they say or preach is only correct when it is exactly as what God says it is in the Bible. Acts 17 vs 11 says;
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Whatever you hear about God and about your life and your situations is true if and only if it coincides with what God is saying. Do not be decieved. We have a guide with us which we can always Check.

Lastly, if you really desire the mind of God, then you've got to be born again. You need to surrender everything about you to God so He can use you for His glory and Honour. If you are living a life that does not please God, you have not yet started living life. Surrender all to Him and see a divine turn around in your life.
