Superiority Of Supernatural Wisdom

They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
In Christ, what is available to you transcends the ordinary man in the streets. You are ambassabor of Christ with priviledge and resources that puts you above the elements and limitations of this world. I Corinthians 2 vs 6-7 says;
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory
There is a wisdom ordained by God unto your glory on earth. You cannot be operating by this wisdom and remain at the same level with natural men. The wisdom from above puts you above. Jesus operated this dimension of wisdom while here on earth and records shows that men were astonished at His exceptional results. Mathew 13 vs 54 says;
54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
Likewise, the book of luke 2 vs 46 -47 says;
46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers
Jesus Demonstrated that intellectualism at its best can make you an orator but divine wisdom makes you an oracle.
Types Of Wisdom
The book of James 3 vs 13-17 evidently says that;
13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Earthly Wisdom
Earthly wisdom is simply natural. It comes nature. For instance, nobody teaches a baby to suck the mother's breast. In like manner we all grew up to find ourselves doing certain things without anyone ever teaching or admonishing us about them. This is called common sense.
Sensual Wisdom
Sensual wisdom is intellectual. It is acquired through learning. You can contact and develop it by scholarship and training. The Bible says in Acts 7 vs 22 that;
22 Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action.
Jesus Christ was also found ".....sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them and asking them questions" in luke 2 vs 46. We all at some point in our lives went through school to acquire intellectual wisdom via hearing and observ ation. Obviously, this kind of wisdom is limited and progressive.
Devilish Wisdom
Devilish wisdom is satanic and diabolical. This incorporates the practice of magic and witch craft. Thsi wisdom concocts, enchantments and spells. Astrologers and soothsayers operate by the devilish wisdom.
Divine Wisdom

Divine Wisdom cannot be learnt: it can only be endowed imparted by God through inspiration or revelation. Divine wisdom is superior to the other three types of wisdom I have just described. Divine Wisdom is distinguished by its characteristics. Then the Bible says it is in James 3 vs 17;
"...first pure, then peaceable, gentle and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy
Divine wisdom is firt pure. It does not scheme to hurt or cheat anyone. It operates with pure mtive. When Joseph interpreted pharoahs dream, he did not in an way influence consideration of the king towards himself. He was not position seeking. Of course, the gift of God is not for merchandise. Divine wisdom is peaceable; not provocative and troublesome. It is open to negotiation and appeal. Divine wisdom is not arrogant and cocky. It respects other people's opinions and views. Divine wisdom does not place you in the seat of Know it all.
Ahithophel was a great tactician, but he operated sensual wisdom. He could not be entreated, such that when Absalom did not accept his counsel, he commited suicide. He could not stand his motion being rejected in the council. Then it says, the wisdom frm above is merciful and full of good fruits, which is to say that it is effectual on the affairs of other people. The foregoing parameters helps us to access whether we are operating the wisdom of God or not.
Divine wisdom is superior to all other types of wisdom because it is from above. In John 3 vs 31, it says;
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
Whatever comes from above is superior to what is on earth. Through devilish wisdom, the magicians also turned their rods into serpents. Exodus 7 vs 12;
12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.
I kings 4 vs 29-31 says;
29 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.
30 And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
31 For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.
You do not need to go to make round. Solomon's wisdom announced him to his world. Ethan, Heman, Chalcol, Darda and Mahol were great names and sages in the world of those times, but solomon who operated divine wisdom excelled them all.
Partakers Of Divine Wisdom
The Bible portrays several individuals that enjoyed divine or supernatural wisdom. One of them is Solomon. It is recorded that in I Kings 4 vs 30-34
30 And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
31 For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.
32 And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.
33 And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
34 And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.
The wisdom at work in Solomon made him renown. Nations and Kings sought after him. The same wisdom is ordained to distinguish you in this end time. Divine wisdom is given, it is not acquired or learnt. This divine endownment qualified Daniel and his three friends also as outstanding intellectuals; Danil 1 vs 20 says;
20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
Earthly, sensual and devilish wisdom cannot withstand the strenght and efficacy of divine wisdom. When earthly, sensual and devilish wisdom comes to their wits end, divine wisdom come in to save the situation. Daniel was the kings last resort when all his magicians and astrologers and the wise men of Egypt could not help him with his dreams.
People will no more see you sweat before they see you win. You will no longer make noise before you make news. It is all the result of the Spirit
