I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
Ecclesiastes 9 vs 11.
At every set time, there is always a chance that accompanies it. It is this major chance that defines the set time or acceptable time. There are times when we put in our best to make something work without success.
There are times also when great ideas and innovative experience has failed as well. There are also times when we put in the best of our time and resources to get things done but to no avail.
These are the experiences of many people trying to get things done before time. Many have attributed their failures to attack by the evil forces, they may be right, but to a large extent it may be wrong, because it is not yet the set time for that particular success.
Nothing is a as frustrating as not knowing the right time for something to be done, we need to inquire from God before taking further steps; we usually see the great opportunities and we never care to ask God about it, forgetting thatit is not every good way that is God's way.
There is a way that seems right to a man,But its end is the way of death.
Proverbs 14 vs 12.
The set time is characterized by chances and opportunities . It does not come as a result of hardwork, knowledge, wisdom or smartness, it comes by grace.
It comes because it pleases God to give you the chance to be what he want you to be.
Time and chance has nothing to do with human ability but it has everything to do with God's ability (God's Grace).
That's the much we will take today on Time and Chance.
