Today, you and I will quickly take a peep at the topic "What Are You Doing That's Making A Difference?". Just like I have read times and times again that the ultimate goal in life is not happiness but how much change or value you have added to your life and community, that's same way I have been thinking of ways that I can make genuine difference that creates usefulness and in the long run make me happy.
However, it all boils down to a simple question. What are you actually doing that's making a difference. What are you putting your hands into that's changing lives and destiny's forever. What measures have you out in place to make life comfortable for other?. In economics, Utility they say is the maximum satisfaction that can be derived from the consumption of a good or service. Then that takes us to how much utility do people get from the value you render. If we stay here, we will keep asking questions. The of course, what's the right thing to do?
Trust me, the world is changing day after the other. A lot of things are being invented, major technological strides have been taken, some of these changes are destructive while some of them are very useful but however, the most important question is what side are you on and what impact are you making in your society.
If you look at the world today , you will discover that there are so many challenges and problems . They are so numerous that you can't begin to our them. So why don't you just pick one and solve it?. There is the problem of poverty and hunger in the world, bad leadership, wrong mindset of followers and you can go on and on. This is where someone like @Sirknight comes in. @Sirknight has discovered that there so many problems in the world today but do you know what he did?, He simply picked the one He can solve. So you will realise that if we all pick just one problem from all the problems of the world, we are making a difference.
Sirknight is a leader worth emulating whether you agree with me or not. I have been working with him for some few months now as his right hand man and I have come to see Him as someone that doesn't believe in talking too much but in action. He singularly picked the problem of hunger and poverty. He has been very supportive to a lot of minnows in the community. Likewise, he supported a lot of young children who didn't have the opportunity to enjoy father and motherly care here in Nigeria. You can check out blog for the charity initiative. Incase you don't know, SirKnight has been of tremendous support to me even before I was named apostle. He loves people who workhard and want to make meaning out of their lives. He loves people or individuals who want to make impact in their lives and their community or the society at large.
@Sirknight loves to make people smile and supports every initiative that goes towards that direction. He has made a lot of people self sufficient and he is still very much doing it in the initiative handled by brother Abiye. He is making life meaningful for people and I personally for one has grown my leadership qualities to a far greater extent than it was, just by getting in contact with this great Knight.
Therefore, if you want to make a difference in life, just don't stress yourself too much trying to solve every problem in this life, just pick one of the problems which you know you have a heart and will to fight and defeat and go head on with it. Just as God not give us a problem that will outweigh us, then you don't really need to pick a problem that will outweigh you too.
The most regrettable life you can ever live is after your death, you discovered you have not contributed anything to make life meaningful and useful to and for others. This can be very disheartening. Some people think they must do something really really big but that's not the point all the time. You can have that kind of dream to do something so great that will change the lives of others forever but however start small. Nobody dares climb a ladder from the top.
As you go on making little minor but useful changes in your life and in the life of others, you will discover that these so called little changes add up to become reasonably significant to the life of others and the society at large. Therefore to end this, just like @SirKnight has picked the problem of driving poverty and hunger from the world, you also are to pick just one problem in the world and seek to change or work on it for the better.
Thanks for stopping by at my blog.
Warm regards
