IT’S not important to understand how prayer works –only that it does. It is a matter of record. There are many mysteries in the cosmos that we may never understand, but we know that there are certain universal laws that always apply. Through the power of prayer, we can use those laws to direct our own lives into positive, productive channels. Please note, however, that prayer is participatory, not passive. It isn’t enough to ask for guidance, you must take action. Anything worth praying for is worth working for.
The success cycle is prayer, action, work! You can achieve any goal you set for yourself by following this cycle.
If your prayers go unanswered, it is because they are not backed up by faith and effort. The invisible is made visible by two mighty instruments –prayer and work. Your prayers go unheeded because you don’t truly believe you will receive or because you fail to back your request with the necessary effort to turn dreams into reality. To earnestly pray for desires and not work for them is a mockery.
To ask the everlasting Father to give us that which we seek but are too lazy to strive for is beginning. In response to our prayers, we receive our universal supply. But if you think your stumbling blocks will be removed, or your wishes come true/ realized without lifting a finger, you may pray until kingdom come without ever receiving an answer.
