Can i live for God and myself at the same time ? the scripture refers us in (2 kings 17;33 ),
" they feared the lord, and served thier own gods , after the manner of the nation whom they carried away from ".
Many belivers find it difficult to live for God . they are aways on the run , either putting more
of their attention to their business, work or something they think is of more value to their
intreast . The first question that should be tackled is ; " WHY WERE WE CREATED ?"
link . Man in the begining ,tried pleasing God and satan at the same time .by obeying God and later obeying the devil .It is so doleful that we now have belivers who claim in pretense of holding and beliving
God ,mean while their actions are not consistant with their claimed beliefs 'they are hypocrites in God's kingdom . " BE NOT DECIVED FOR GOD IS NOT MOCKED FOR WHAT SO EVER A MAN SOWETH, THAT SHALL HE ALSO REAP". we should understand that we were brought into existence for God to use us according to his will. the second question that should be tackeld is the question of " WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF OUR EXISTENCE ? if you know the purpose of your existence on earth , we will not try to pretend to God . instead we would draw closer to him and put away every garment of hypocrisy.
THINGS YOU SHOU UNDERSTAND. TO AVOID HYPOCRISY
- You should understand that God is not human , and there is nothing that you can hide from him so if you try pretending to be a true citizen of his kingdom he knows you are not .
- You should understand that no matter the routine of you daily life ,God must be put first
( mathew 6;33) BUT SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD,AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ALL
OF THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU.
