Blessings my beloved steemchurch, I trust that every purpose of God is fulfilled in your lives daily. Today in this section dedicated to our growth I want to share the following text.
John 15:1-5 King James Version
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
How many times as human beings have we wanted to solve things in our own strength? until we get to a point where we know we can't take it any further and fall into the hands of the Almighty? This is certainly what "The Word of God for Today" tells us when it is made known to us that, separated from God, we are absolutely nothing.
Let us help others to be united to that tree that gives us its nourishment and its continuous strength to produce fruits pleasing to its wonderful eyes and blessing to the eye of all who know us.
