And giving joyful thanks to the father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. Col 1:12 NIV
Introduction
Everything about God is excellent. He is excellent in love, in power, in peace, in judgment.... so whoever must carry these attributes must be in God’s family. Since we are now enlightened that all things that proceed from God are an embodiment of excellence. so therefore, for a man to be a possessor of excellence, he must have his source from God.
In this context, I will be considering some qualities that will qualify us for manifesting God’s excellence.
God minds about these qualifications
- God is the qualifier
- Jesus is The atoning sacrifice
- God is not partial about it
- They are not grievous or burdensome for us do
Qualification for excellence
One must possess the following so as to qualify for excellence
- Must be born of God
- Must be born of the spirit
- Consecration
- Knowledge of God
- Faithfulness (doer of God’s Words)
- Kingdom minded (Must have a thought pattern that is stayed on God)
- Must reverence and fear of God
- Must be anointed and baptized by the spirit of God
- Must be a lover of righteousness
- Must be prayerful (A God seeker)
Why God qualifies a man
Man must possess the following for God to qualify him.
- So that no man will take the glory
- So that God’s love and fulfillment will be expressed in a man
- So as to silence the adversaries
- So as to drawn men to himself in love
- So that men can learn to trust him in all things
- So as to show His excellence through men for the world to see
- So that God will be glorified
Manifestation of God’s excellence
For we to manifest God’s excellence, the following should be taken note
- Wisdom and understanding
- Vision, prophecies and revelation
- Interpretations of dreams
- Answered Prayers
- Demonstration of power
- Wonder working praise
- Sound health and prosperity
- Promotion
Conclusion
God qualifies, Christ paid the price and the Holy Spirit does the work of excellence in us. But then, without us doing our part, we cannot manifest God’s excellent nature, it’s our individual responsibility to bring it from the inside for the whole world to see.
