"The next total lunar eclipse will occur on July 27, 2018. A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes through Earth’s shadow, at which point it takes on a reddish tint, which is why the eclipse is colloquially called a "blood moon." You won't want to miss this eclipse, as it will be the longest total lunar eclipse of the 21st century, lasting one hour and 43 minutes." (Quote from google) Much is made about "blood moons" in popular theology today. Several books have come out recently about blood moons. There are some current writings indicating that this will be a powerful time. We read about this on line this week. Scripture tells us in Genesis 1:16 "God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also." Often, God is communicating to us through His creation. What message do you think we should be expecting from Him?
This photo is not of the eclipse, but is a few days before.
