God is firm and constant in all his decisions and promises, he does not bend or give up his purpose, he showed his justice and mercy in different ways, but he maintained and maintains his firmness with justice in his people and the world

ISRAEL, A CHOSEN PEOPLE
Source
Israel is a miracle of God from its beginning, Its origin is divine. Only for the love of God, Israel is still a people; and only because of the faithfulness of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Israel has not been destroyed. Jehovah God did not choose Israel because he was a great nation, but because he was the smallest of all and He wanted to love her
Just as it happens with us "his people", God chose us not because we deserved it but because He wanted to love us. We read in Deuteronomy 7: 6-8, "Not because you were more than all the people did the Lord love you and he chose you, since you were the most insignificant of all peoples, but because the Lord loved you and wanted to keep Oath that he swore to your fathers, the LORD hath brought you out with a mighty hand, and hath redeemed you from bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. "
Jehovah God has also taken each of us out of the hand of servitude, to show us his love and justice
Israel has been a people whose faith has been tested from the beginning born of a sterile woman of 90 years and a man of 100 years. God makes the impossible possible. Hebrews 11:12 tells us about Isaac: "... of one, and that already almost dead, they came out as the stars of heaven in multitude, and as the innumerable sand that is on the seashore." Surely God spoke to Abram, saying, "I will multiply your offspring so much that it can not be counted because of the multitude" (Genesis 16:10). But he also said to him, "Be certain that your offspring will dwell in another's land and will be a slave there, and will be oppressed 400 years" (Genesis 15: 13-14).
IN EGYPT
"Then Israel went out with all that she had and God spoke to him in visions at night, and said," Jacob. "And he said," Here I am. "He said," I am God, the God of your fathers, do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make of you a great nation "(Genesis 46: 1-3). "... all the people of the house of Jacob, who entered Egypt, were seventy" (Genesis 46:27). And they lived in the land of Goshen 430 years, 400 of which were slaves
MOISÉS, EL CAUDILLO
When God called Moses, and Israel was a huge slave people in the land of Egypt. He had grown greatly; they were approximately 600,000 males, (Exodus 12:37). Moses received one of the most difficult calls that are known. He had the responsibility to take a whole race of slaves and under circumstances difficult to express to get them out of Egypt, the most powerful nation of that time. This event was a panorama of wonders and miracles on God's part. Under the leadership of this caudillo, the town witnessed miracles and portents
Rebellion and protests have always characterized the people of Israel. The severity of the road made them rebellious and doubted the presence and protection of God (Exodus 17: 7). Even having witnessed so many miracles, and that with a strong hand God brought them out of slavery, now on their way to the promised land, in the desert, the people lose their spirits and begin to complain, their eyes were, rather, in Egypt than in the promises of God. They did not understand that all murmuring was against God and not against Moses
There is a very sad detail in the life of Moses. This is the most prominent man in the pre-Christian world. He is a man, certainly, key in the history of Israel. "Moses was very meek, more than all the men that were on earth" (Numbers 12: 3). A man who accepted the call of God at age 80 (Exodus 3; 7: 7); and honored him, responding to it, with a unique zeal. He was the man who spoke with God, face to face, as anyone speaks to a friend (Exodus 33:11). The man who, when the people gave themselves over to idolatry, offered himself as an offering of immolation instead of the rebellious ones, (Exodus 32:31); and he did not rest until the man promised to go with the people
But it was also the man to whom God did not allow him to enter the promised land, but only to see it from afar, from Mount Nebo, where he also died and was united to his people, (Deuteronomy 32: 48-52). "Go up to this hill of Abarim, to mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, which is opposite Jericho, and see the land of Canaan, which I give as an inheritance to the children of Israel: and he dies in the mount and be united to your people, as Aaron your brother died in the mountain of Hor, and was united with his people, because you sinned against me in the midst of the children of Israel, in the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of zin, because you did not sanctify me in the midst of the children of Israel, you will see, therefore, the earth before you, but you will not go there, to the land that I give to the children of Israel. " For this there is only one answer: God is inflexible in his justice
THE PROMISED LAND
Source
Now Israel is ready to enter the promised land, no longer under the command of Moses, but under that of Joshua
The book of Numbers 33:11 tells us Joshua as the "servant of Moses", Exodus 17: 9 as "the lieutenant of Moses" in the war of Rephidim, and Numbers 27:18 as "a man filled with the Holy Spirit of God." ", Joshua was a practical man, of firm character, brave and full of faith. He was one of the twelve spies who maintained his testimony that, with the help of God, the Israelites would be able to conquer the promised land, (Numbers 14: 6-9)
Once again God showed his glory with the Israelites, the Israelites were guided by the Ark, which was carried by the priests. The ark represented the presence of God in the midst of the people. The children of Israel crossed the Jordan River and camped at Gigal. In Arca he represented the presence of God in the midst of the people. The children of Israel crossed the Jordan River and camped in Gigal. Joshua was commissioned by God to conquer Canaan and distribute the land among the tribes.
God remains faithful to his word, and God's faithfulness in fulfilling the promise he had made to the patriarchs, that he would take them to the promised land, is fulfilled and so God has shown this world, has shown it with each of us and will continue to do so for all generations
¿AND YOU AS A CHRISTIAN THAT YOU EXPECT FROM GOD?
Remember that God is inflexible in his justice and just as he worked with the people of Israel, so will he work on our behalf, perhaps today we literally do not have to cross a Jordan, to reach the promised land, but spiritually there are many Jordanians in our lives we need to cross. God used many men to demonstrate his glory with justice and mercy and today God will also use men and women who will be a Moses, a Joshua, a samuel to fulfill what for generations he has said to his people
We are the grafted Israel of God, who by his great love chose us as "children", let us also remember the promise "to his own he came, and his own did not receive him, but to all who received him, to those who believe in His name gave them the power to be made "sons of God" (John 1: 11-12)
We renounce rebellion and murmurings to receive mercy from God
We are his children, descendant of the promise of Abraham, to reach the promised land, that is, his promises
We are a people chosen by God and we are more special than all peoples
¡God is inflexible in his justice!
