Relying on God
"Come, therefore, now, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring my people from Egypt, the sons of Israel." (Exodus 3:10)
A stuttering man, who needed his brother's help as an interpreter, confronted the most powerful king on earth at that time: Pharaoh of Egypt.
This man, Moses, knew how to move God's hand so that miracles would happen, even in the worst circumstances, through his constant communion with Him (Exodus 14:14).
When Jehovah called Moses to appear before Pharaoh, to let his people go to serve him, for three days in the wilderness, he warned him that this man would harden his heart so as not to let them go.
However, God sent the most extraordinary judgments to devastate Egypt, using various strategies, such as the ten famous plagues. (Exodus 7:14 to chapter 12) Finally, with a stick, as the only weapon in his hand, Moses managed to defeat the Egyptian army and its king who, in the end, let the people of Israel go.
Moses did not think that he had to form an army to face each other in a hand-to-hand fight with Pharaoh's armies, he simply waited on God and did everything He commanded him.
When the last judgment about the nation of Egypt came, God told him what steps to take, and by giving him the instructions he equipped him with the most powerful spiritual weapons that the people of God had ever known.
Life's lesson:
Many times we face difficult circumstances, where we are struck down by the pain, facing giants who only want to trample our self-esteem and leave us prisoners. At those moments, we do not know how to act and we do it according to our human reason. We prefer to hide from these giants and live in a cave that leads to continuous depression,
God teaches us in his word, that only the brave will snatch the kingdom of heaven, this statement refers to those giant that we can tear down only with courage and faith in Him: fear of success, to marry, to leave a fixed job to Being a businessman, romantic disappointments that have left a bitter taste and have not allowed you to move forward with another relationship, you feel helpless and insecure.
Moses did not act being led by circumstances He relied on the perfect will of God over his life.
This man, Moses, knew how to move God's hand so that miracles would happen, even in the worst circumstances, through his constant communion with Him.
2 Timothy 1: 7
Because God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, love and self-control.
