God wants us to be happy everyday of our life and also for greater years to befall us. To cut it short, His Word has encouraged us to search for peace and get it at all cost (see 1 Peter 3:11). We should not only only lookout for peaceful relationship with God , our fellow men and ourselves but to seek peace in everything we do.
The first way to look out for peace is to understand that Jesus is the prince of peace, in a nut shell, we need to lookout for Jesus. Because we cannot have peace with God, ourselves and people around us without His lordship in our lives. The Word of God teaches us to live properly. God will not just give us wisdom because He Himself is our wisdom.in trusting Jesus and having a good relationship with Him, we have all the wisdom we need.
So we need to look out for Jesus, knowing that He is our peace. The Bible says "don't be anxious for nothing" anything we need in this life is possible when we have peace. So meaning that a perfect job is not that job that has the highest pay package or that job that has the biggest reputation, but that job in which peace is found. It is very possible to have all the money in this world without peace of mind, in fact, those who in one way or the other finds themselves in that shoes knows it's absolute nonsense. You can have whatever reputation nor fame without finding peace. No wonder the Bible tells us to seek His kingdom and righteousness and every other thing will he supply, this is telling us that we should seek Jesus which is peace and in Him we will find other things.
How do we find peace you may ask, you will only find peace by acknowledging the prince of peace in our lives and in Him others will be found. Don't engage yourself in anything that will never give you peace of mind, as you all know that God will never give you anything that you will never find peace, seek Jesus in your engagement with people and also In the upbringing of your children and young ones. Pray and ask Him to help you in everything you do. Even when it seems like all hope is lost, cast your care on Him and ask Him to come to your aid. He is ever ready to help.
