Today I will like us to encourage us with this passage-Isaiah chapter 25 verse 6-9
Isaiah 25:6-9 says
6 On this mountain [Zion] The Lord of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples [to welcome His reign on earth],
A banquet of aged wines—choice pieces [flavored] with marrow,
Of refined, aged wines.
7 And on this mountain He will destroy the covering that is [cast] over all peoples,
And the veil [of death] that is woven and spread over all the nations.
8 He will swallow up death [and abolish it] for all time.
And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces,
And He will take away the disgrace of His people from all the earth;
For the Lord has spoken.
9 It will be said in that day,
“Indeed, this is our God for whom we have waited that He would save us.
This is the Lord for whom we have waited;
Let us shout for joy and rejoice in His salvation.”

Let's take them one after the other
vs 6
On this mountain [Zion] The Lord of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples [to welcome His reign on earth],
A banquet of aged wines—choice pieces [flavored] with marrow, Of refined, aged wines.
Our Heavenly Father spoke to us through Prophet Isaiah to reassure us of His infinite supply of abundance.
He will not just provide sufficient food for us but, a lavish banquet of food for us all, to show forth His Magnificence.
He will fill our bellies with sweetness and joy and celebration-that means no more loss, lack, limitation or sadness in our lives.
vs 7
And on this mountain He will destroy the covering that is [cast] over all peoples,
And the veil [of death] that is woven and spread over all the nations
In verse 7, He said He will remove every covering of shame, sickness and destroy the veil of death that is covering all the nations, which He has done for us through the death and resurrection of His only begotten son Jesus Christ.
Which proves He always does what He says He will do.
vs 8
He will swallow up death [and abolish it] for all time.
And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces,
And He will take away the disgrace of His people from all the earth;
For the Lord has spoken.
In verse 8, we learn that God has defeated death for our sakes, which means we shall never die untimely deaths as children of God.
He will take away pain, shame, sadness and reproach from all our lives and fill us with joy and gladness.
vs 9
It will be said in that day,
“Indeed, this is our God for whom we have waited that He would save us.
This is the Lord for whom we have waited;
Let us shout for joy and rejoice in His salvation.”
In verse 9, we affirm that God is faithful and mighty to save us His children.
He will not disappoint us for His name's sake.
He will always direct our path because we trust Him.
LET US SHOUT FOR JOY AND REJOICE IN HIS SALVATION!.
