My dear brothers , in these moments that we are living in our nation it is important to know that we must place our eyes on Jesus. Tonight's message for the people who believe in God and fear his name: "There is still mercy".
Psalm 46: 1-3
God is our refuge and strength,
Our early aid in tribulations.
Therefore, we will not fear, even if the earth is removed,
And the mountains are transferred to the heart of the sea;
Though they may tremble and be troubled,
And the mountains tremble because of their braveness. Selah

The most affected states Sucre, Anzoategui and Nueva Esparta. There is much anguish and confusion in the population, not only because of this telluric movement but because of the things that are happening in Venezuela.
The word of God speaks a lot about these events, in fact when Jesus died an earthquake, when Paul and Silas were in jail, the earth also trembled. We can quote some biblical texts:
Psalm 68: 8
the earth trembled; the heavens also spilled before the presence of God; the Sinai itself {trembled} before God, the God of Israel.
Jeremiah 10:10
But the LORD is the true God; He is the living God and the eternal King. Before their anger the earth trembles, and the nations are powerless before their indignation.
Psalm 104: 32
He looks at the earth, and she trembles; touch the mountains, and they smoke.
Job 9: 6
who shakes the earth from its place, and its pillars tremble;
Psalm 60: 2
You have made the earth tremble, you have cleft it; He cleans his clefts, because he staggers.
Psalm 75: 3 - New International Version
When the earth trembles with all its inhabitants, it is I who affirm its columns. '
Venezuela is going through a process, but in the midst of that situation we can see the hand of God, it is not by chance that today, before all the changes that are being generated, the earth has trembled, we must be understood in our spirit and listen what God is talking about, even he has mercy for his people where his name is invoked, we must repent of our evil ways and seek God, our hearts must be circumcised, God is calling a nation to turn to him with all his mind , with all your heart, with all your soul.
We have seen with pain as in the middle of the crisis, humanity remains in an attitude of arrogance, pride, hatred, God is waiting for the conscience and hearts to return to him. We have no other way out, or better option, God is the solution for Venezuela, only his powerful hand can work a miracle as he did with the people of Israel in antiquity. Only Jesus can set us free!
As biblical Christians we can not be blind or deaf to what happens around us. The Lord made it very clear what the world would be like and even the church itself just before the departure of the saved into His presence.
The word earthquake appears about 18 times in the Bible, the biblical meaning has two aspects, the physical one that produces on earth and the emotional one that it produces in men.
In Hebrew: "raásh"; to undulate (like the earth, the sky, etc., also a field of grain), particularly through fear; jump (like lobster): - move, shake, intimidate, make tremble, upset.
In Greek: "seismós"; concussion, (of air) blast, (of earth) earthquake: -wind, storm, earthquake.
Jesus defines the work of Satan in John 10.10: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it in abundance. "The earthquakes were known among the people of Israel because of their sin in the promised land.
In Luke 21, 11 he said: "And there will be great earthquakes, and in different places famines and pestilences; and there will be terror and great signs from heaven. "Not only the earth, but even the space itself is a source of concern, there are meteorites that flying in the space close to the earth, it is feared that in the not too distant future there will be an impact of unimaginable proportions.
The earthquakes are not only signs of judgment but also of liberation, in the prison of Philippi where Paul and Silas were imprisoned after having tortured them by means of the blows in the backs there was an earthquake that brought liberation: "Suddenly a great earthquake, in such a way that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and the chains of all were released. "(Acts of the Apostles 16.26).
People of God, it's time to bend your knees.
We know that God listens from heaven, today once again he had mercy for us, kept our lives and gives us the opportunity to repent, conquer souls and proclaim his name, there is a promise for the children of Jehovah:
Psalm 91: 7
"A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but you will not come. "
Where do we find the inner strength to withstand fears, tragedies, disasters and attacks? How far can we count on God?
God is the Creator of the universe and is willing to know Him. It is for this reason that we are all here. It is your desire that we trust in Him and have the experience of His power, love, justice, holiness and compassion. So He is saying to all who want, "Come to me."
Unlike human beings, God knows what will happen tomorrow, next week, next year, the next decade.
He says, "I am God, and there is no one like me, I declare the end at the beginning" 1 He knows what is going to happen in the world. And even more importantly, you know what is going to happen to you throughout your life and wants to be in it with you, if you choose to make it part of your life. God says it can be our "refuge and strength, help in time of trial" 2 But it is necessary that we make a sincere effort to seek Him.
He says, "You will seek Me and you will find Me when you will seek Me with all your heart." 3 This does not mean that those who know God will not live difficult moments. When a terrorist attack occurs that causes suffering and death, those who know God also suffer. But there is a peace and a strength that only gives us the presence of God.
Today is a good day to reflect, be better people and look again at Jesus! He is our hope!
