Sacianos of love in the morning, and our whole life we will sing of joy. [...] May the favor of the Lord our God be upon us.
Psalm 90:14, 17
Although all human beings are children of God, many consider themselves insignificant beings. They are convinced that they are worthless when they compare themselves with others, whom they consider superior. This was the feeling of the spies of Israel who went to inspect the land of Canaan before the people could take possession of it. They saw themselves as grasshoppers and considered the inhabitants of that territory as beings of gigantic proportions. That attitude incapacitated them for the conquest, the rest of their power and they were defeated before their time. For that reason they fell into discouragement. "The land we have explored swallows its inhabitants, and the men we saw there are huge. [...] Compared to them, we looked like locusts, and that is how they saw us "(Num. 13: 32-33).
Lobsters are invertebrate insects similar to crickets but a little larger. These animals have ravaged the face of the earth for thousands of years. We know them biblically when Jehovah gave Moses authority to send a plague of locusts to the Egyptians when Pharaoh refused to let his people out and successively in several passages of the Bible, which he refers to.

"And I will restore to you the years that the caterpillar ate, the bulrushed one, the revolton and the locust, my great army that I sent against you." Joel 2:25
This type of defeatist attitude may have its origin in the concept we have of our person, and will determine to a large extent our relationship with God, with ourselves and with others. When we feel inferior because of our origin we also question the creative power of God, and our faith suffers the consequences. We also deny our abilities and become insecure and full of fears. As if this were not enough, such mental complexity will make us become disqualifiers of others, the result of envy, and we do not know how to value the achievements of others and learn the necessary lessons from the example of the people with whom we relate.
"Moses left Pharaoh's palace and prayed to the Lord. The Lord answered him and changed the direction of the wind, and the strong wind from the west took the locusts and threw them into the Red Sea. Not one locust remained in all the land of Egypt. "- Exodus 10: 18-19
"God spoke, and the locusts came; So many were, that they could not be counted! They devoured the grass of the field and all that the earth had produced! "- Psalm 105: 34-35

This is a reality that none of us should live. It is necessary to recognize that, in spite of the impurity and other burdens that we may have picked up along the path of life, we are children of God, and he has the power to cleanse us. Once we have done this, the expectations we have regarding ourselves will be renewed; then we can recognize that we have been richly endowed with gifts, talents and abilities. Of course, that attitude will allow us to establish a positive social environment around us, as well as improve our personal relationships.
Tips for not feeling inferior
Keep in mind that:
1- We are all human beings, and as such we have virtues, but also defects. Nobody, absolutely nobody, is perfect.
2- Failures are not defeats; they are simply opportunities to grow.
3- It is absolutely impossible that you do not have virtues, look for them ... you will get a pleasant surprise.
4 - It is nice to be aware that there are things that may not be given as well as others, we take advantage of all.
5- Defects (and also virtues) differentiate us from others. They make us special and unique.
6- If there were no defects there would be no virtues with which to compare them.
7- Laughter heals, learn to laugh at yourself and you will see how the colors of the canvas with which you paint life change!
Remember that nobody can make you feel inferior, unless it is with your consent. Eleanor Roosevelt
