Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding:
Proverbs 3:5
Trusting in the Lord with all your heart is not, therefore, a purely emotional choice. Sometimes it is really necessary to decide to trust in God even when everyone and everything around us seems to indicate the opposite or when circumstances want us to believe that following another path would be the best or the safest solution.
It may seem a bit logical, but trusting the Lord with all our heart sometimes we really need to make a decision with our "head", even if it goes against our "heart". However, we must have and take care of a personal relationship with God.
But we do not take care of a personal relationship with God in our daily life, so it is normal. Challenges we will not be spontaneous to trust in God with all our heart.
Who is God for you? Who is Jesus for you? Do you recognize him as your Savior, who came to set you free from your sins to restore your relationship with God? Do you recognize him as your Lord who has the right to tell you how you should live your life?
