Good day fellow steemians.Hope you all had a good week?
I came about a scripture, talking about a man without doubt and I thought to share my thoughts on the scripture. Well, here it goes;
I Tim 2:8 says ”Therefore I desire that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands without wrath and doubting". The next thing you must avoid as a man, is the issue of doubting. Doubting is internal lack of assurance. As you take a step to do something, your heart is asking a question,"Are you sure?” Then you begin to doubt. The Bible says the man that is doubting is unstable in his ways. He is like the wave of the sea, somebody that is being tossed to and fro by every wind; let that man not think he can receive anything from God. The most difficult problem of followers is undecided leaders. If a leader is fluctuating, then followers are confused. They will not know what to do. If followers know you to be like that, they won't follow you closely. They will likely, follow from a distance, because they know that you may change your mind. They know that you are not firm because you are doubting. When you have a leader, a father, or a husband that is not sure of what to do, there is confusion.
You must grow in faith as a man. This will be your right response to this truth. You must be able to say to your wife and children, ”Follow me” and you will be seen leading very firmly and confidently because you are praying and trusting God. You are not presumptuous. You must think very deeply about every step you take, so that when you tell them to follow, even if there is a storm, they will. still follow you because they will see you there, ahead of them.
The storm is not a problem if followers see the leader With his head tall. But when there is a storm and they see you bury your head in shame, then they know they don‘t have a leader. In understanding be men, in boldness be men, and in faith be men. You will have to pray about this.
If this begins to happen in your life personally, we will see revival in the church.
