The kingdom is likened it to a man who chanced upon a treasure. He discovered it and in the pleasure of his discovery, “he goes and sells all that he has". Whereas the other man was once a service provider who had been looking for satisfactory pearls and on finding one of high-quality value, also “went and offered all that he had".
We can see from the parables the cost that these men attached to the kingdom. How they had brilliant joy in discovering it. We want to ask ourselves whether or not we cherish this kingdom like these men, whether we connect the same cost to the kingdom. Or are we beginning to suppose that we did God a favour by tagging along?
On the different hand, we want now not be afraid in supplying the gospel of the kingdom in all its fullness, questioning whether or not these who hear us will accept it gladly and pay the big fee that it may also require. The gospel message is really worth any price; even the closing rate of one's life, for God's son gave his personal existence for men. This is mainly so for these who work the place the gospel is severely opposed.
Jesus is the treasure of greatest really worth and no sacrifice for him or his kingdom is too much. He is a king and we need to serve him with the biggest Joy!
