John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not be lost, but may have eternal life.
Ephesians 3: 14-19
14 For this cause I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 from whom every family in heaven and earth takes its name,
16 that he may give you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power in the inner man by his Spirit;
17 so that Christ may live by faith in your hearts, so that, rooted and grounded in love,
18 be fully able to understand with all the saints what is the width, the length, the depth and the height,
19 and of knowing the love of Christ, which exceeds all knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Greetings dear brothers and friends. Today I want to talk to you about something very beautiful, I want to express through this medium, part of the story of our glorious savior. I bring you the most beautiful and sublime of Him, "your love." I always like to meditate on his word through music, and today just hearing this beautiful song, I asked myself: What specifically was it that led my lord, to die crucified, lacerated, anguished ... on that cross? Obviously in his word is the most convincing proof of that answer: "it was for love" - today his word expressed and made music by many who have interpreted the greatest love story ever told; where if you want, you can be a participant, it is a story of surrender, but also of sacrifice, of the greatest sacrifice that those who love can make. That love is called Jesus! That love does not condemn men, but I forgive those who killed him. That love I forgive those who condemned him. That love saved the thief by his side. Glory to God! That love sat at the right hand of the father interceding 24 hours ... and that love transforms and changes lives. That love is called: "JESUS"
Speaking of Paul. If there was anyone who could speak and write about the love of God, that was Paul. Being one of the most ferocious persecutors of the primitive church, he had the opportunity to know the most sublime and infallible love ever seen in humanity, "the love of God" in all its essence and was transformed by that same love. In First Corinthians chapter 13, Paul talks about the pre-eminence of love.
Speaking of John. The scripture says that it was resting on the breast of Jesus. How wonderful it would be to be able to hear every heartbeat of that heart so full of love for men! Thus did John learn about the love of God; They called him the apostle of love. That is why, when John understood the immense love of God, he summed it up in John 3:16 "because God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not be lost, but have eternal life. "
That "in such a way" is something incomprehensible to human knowledge, is something that logically, has no explanation, is something without limit, that you can not understand, until you are ready to seek God, with the deepest reverence, and with the most humble attitude.
There are many ways and ways in which we can describe God's love or "that love," even in our own experience, for example, by considering what He has done in us, that unconditional love? What is the way I can thank God, that great way of loving me, even without deserving it?
As we can read throughout the scriptures, and as the song also shows. In all the time that Jesus was on earth, he worked miracles, healed the sick, controlled the climate, multiplied the food ... even today, after leaving the earth, he still continues to perform miracles in the lives of people ... and everything is "For that love"
There are many people today who ask themselves: What is the point of Jesus being powerful being allowed to kill, instead of demonstrating his power? Well I want you to understand friend, that he did it was out of love, it was out of love that his life offered, it was out of love that he left all his power to come to die, to save this humanity from the oppression of the eternal yoke, it was for love that wanted to die. God loved us "in such a way" that there is no sin that you can commit, that HE stops loving you, more than he loves you, there is nothing more wonderful in this land that you can do so that he loved you, more of what loves you His love is unconditional, and even though we are unfaithful He remains faithful, because Himself is the essence of love, He loved us so much, so much so that the bible describes his love, as the sole and sovereign Deuteronomy 7: 8 "because I love you ... He has taken you out with a mighty hand, and has rescued you from servitude ... "
God is the owner of love. When he freed the people of Israel from the bondage of Egypt, he made it clear that he did it because he wanted to free them, out of love, although the people as such did not deserve it. Likewise Jesus gave himself in sacrifice for love, and today we need to rediscover the meaning of that sacrifice, the product of his love. The love of Christ exceeds all knowledge. That is why it is wonderful to know that He chose us before forming the world with a deep love, greater than the same world.
Now beloved brother and friends, we understand why Jesus gave his life for us, I bear that cross, and I endure the pain that we as sinners deserved, it was "for love" it was all for love.
THAT UNEXPLICABLE LOVE OF JESUS, CHANGE LIVES.
The people who followed Jesus abandoned their sins. He cast out 7 demons from the life of Mary Magdalene and she became and transformed her life, Paul, called Saul of Tarsus, persecuted and scourged the church of Jesus Christ and when he had an encounter with him, he changed his life. For almost two thousand years Jesus has been changing the lives of people all over the world. And do you know why he does it? - simply for pure "love"
How wonderful is our god! If you want to be part of that love, Jesus today extends his arms and invites you to be filled with that love. Remember that all his suffering and agony, he suffered "only for love of you"
How big can the love of God be? "In such a way", it has no measures, it has no limits, it is incalculable before human eyes. How great can that love be, so that, justified by his grace, we are made heirs according to the hope of eternal life? Many think that great things must be done to be saved. In Ephesians 2: 8-9 the apostle Paul tells us that salvation is free, it is not by works so that no one can boast. We are saved because God was pleased to save us and nothing else. And all this only "was for love"
Now, if God has loved us in such a way. What should man do with so much love? Recognize yourself as a sinner and come to the feet of Jesus Christ out of gratitude to God for his incredible love.
Remember that all He endured simply for loving you so much ... and the apostle Paul advised about this: for this cause I bend my knees before the father of our Lord Jesus Christ ... so that I may live Christ by faith in our hearts, in order that ingrained and grounded in love, be fully capable of understanding the breadth, length, depth and height of Christ's love, which exceeds all knowledge. Ephesians: 3-19.
Beloved the love of God, towards his humanity is amazing, unthinkable, miraculous, surprising ... his dedication was total on the cross of Calvary. Isaiah 53: 7 expresses to us broadly the expression of that love, says: He is distressed, and, afflicted, he did not open his mouth; as a lamb he was taken to the slaughterhouse; and as a sheep before his shearers, he fell silent, and did not open his mouth. And everything "was for love"
God bless you.
