Hey Guys!
I'm back in Bellingham, WA writing this post and reflecting on an amazing weekend. My sister 
Hive account@maryjaney and I filmed our final Steem Creators recap video in the Las Vegas airport right before heading out!
I was a little worried about background noise/audio quality since we were in the airport - but we played around with using the microphone a little differently and I'm actually really happy with how the audio turned out!
This was such an incredible weekend of connecting with amazing people. One thing Hive account@maryjaney said leaving the conference was how cool it felt to be in a room full of engaged, intelligent, kind, and fun people. It was really an amazing group and there was a great mix of learning from each other, connecting, and having a super fun time in the evenings.
Today's Highlights
Here is a brief overview from today! We go a little deeper into each topic in the video.
First of all, I was so sad to miss a few presentations this morning. We really tried to make every session during the whole weekend - but getting up early was just not in the cards for us this morning! We may or may not have been out until 2:30am last night doing karaoke with the gang!
The Pitch party was a great success. It was basically like shark-tank, but with crypto and nicer people. There were a mix of people in the audience that presented their ideas (hoping to get funding) and also some people that live streamed into the conference. There were so many incredible ideas and I really enjoyed hearing all of the different projects people are building on the Steem blockchain.
They handed out some awards from the conference as well! We had to leave around 3:30pm to catch our flight, and so we missed this segment - but before leaving they let us know that Hive account@maryjaney won an award! She won the "Best After Hours Participant"! This was seriously well deserved. It was so fun to see Mary get out of her comfort zone and push herself. She was the one that really got everyone out on the dance floor on Friday night and she literally brought the HOUSE DOWN with her karaoke performance on Saturday night! She is planning to post video from this on her channel soon - so watch for that!
I also had a ladies lunch with the fellow founders of the 
Hive account@museproject today! We had a lovely time connecting and brainstorming for the project. I have video of the Women's Panel from the conference that I'll be sharing later this week - so stay tuned for more information! We also had a great time filming a video for the muse project channel while we were all together.
Lastly, Hive account@maryjaney and I were interviewed by Iris of 
Hive account@hyperfundit. We had SO much fun getting to know her this weekend and it was a total joy to speak with her on camera. Check out their page to see that video coming soon! You can also learn more about Hyper Fund it on their page as well. They are basically looking to bring crowdfunding (like Kickstarter) to the Steem Blockchain. I loved hearing more about their project this weekend and seeing how they are already helping to raise money for worthy causes.

WOW... this was an absolutely unforgettable weekend. I cannot thank the whole 
Hive account@steemcafe crew enough for everything they did.
