Hey Steemians!
and I just got back from attending the Steem Creators Conference held in Las Vegas over the weekend. We had a blast and loved connecting & learning from more awesome Steemians in person!
THANK YOU!
Huge thanks to ,
, and
for creating this awesome conference for Steemians to share their knowledge and inspire everyone with fresh, new ideas! For someone who has been on the platform for less than a year, I am so impressed with every single one of these guys (and gals) - they had an idea, made it happen in a little over a 100 days, and brought together some of the most creative, innovative people on the platform to share what they know so we could ALL benefit & be more successful on the platform
Steem Creators Conference
DAY 1
On Friday, the first day of the conference, and I got to share the stage with two beautiful humans,
&
. We all shared our experiences & tips on how to start your own Steemit meetup in your community!
Later that afternoon, I got to speak on the women's panel with the that I've just recently become involved in. We have a video from our presentation that we'll be sharing on our
page, plus a fun bonus video we shot off the cuff while we were all together - I'll share those with you all soon!
To find out more about the Muse Project and how to get involved, make sure to follow our main page .
DAY 2
(The Buddha Burger - a vegan waffle burger from Taiba Waffle. It was within walking distance from our Airbnb & we went there almost every day for coffee and waffles. No regrets.)
Not going to lie , we took a rest day on Saturday since and I both didn't have any presentations, and we had stayed up way too late the night before, ha! However, we did have a surprise visit from
's best friend
who just happened to be driving through the area! We spent the afternoon with him & did a little of our own exploring later that night. We found some pretty amazing food that day :)
DAY 3
On Sunday, the last day of the conference, my love and I got to speak about our most current project - we're taking off in our 1973 Dodge Travco with our 3 dogs and we'll be documenting our travels along the way on Steemit! It was so much fun to officially share this project that we've been manifesting for the last couple of years - and it's all thanks to Steemit!
We also had a planning/lunch meeting with all the muses (,
,
, &
) while we were all together. Sarah & Shellie were so generous & shared some of their yummy food with us that they brought with them. We shared delicious crackers, cheeses, fresh greens, herbs, & cucumber from their own garden at the
, and our group personal fave - CHOCOLATE 💖

( And
- just two of the most genuine, kindest Steemians we met at the conference)
I'm feeling so inspired after leaving Steem Creator's Conference & I'm overflowing with new ideas that I want to implement soon! I'm so thankful for this amazing community that's unlike any other social media platform out there.
If I could part with one piece of advice that I've taken away from the conference and my time here on Steemit, it would be to create, or participate, in a community. You can get way farther in a community than you can alone. If you're working on a similar project that somebody else is working on, get involved! See if you can combine efforts to make a greater impact. Instead of seeing someone as competition, see them as an opportunity to collaborate.
If you ever have a chance to attend either a Steemit conference, or local Steemit meetup, I highly encourage you to do so. Meeting other Steemians IRL and making those real life connections has taken my experience to a whole other level. See if there's already a meetup happening near you, or start one of your own!
Now we're back at my parents for 2 weeks before we attend my best friend's wedding and officially leave Texas to start our RV journey to the pacific northwest! We still have a couple of things to finish up on the RV before we leave, so we'll share those updates with you soon!
Until then, keep on steemin' on!
