and I took the boys for an impromptu trip to Happy Jack's Pumpkin Patch today!
I remember visiting Happy Jack's a few times as a child, but Carlin, Vincent, nor
Aside from every kind of pumpkin imaginable, they also have a bunch of animals on the farm, and Carlin enjoyed feeding the goats, squawking at the roosters, and looking at bison and alpacas from a distance.
They've got the whole place ready for Halloween, complete with a pumpkin house,
Skeletons posted up around a campfire,
and tons of decorated pumpkins!
Have you ever seen a Kentucky Shoe Tree? They're only native to this neck of the woods 😉
After looking at pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and colors...
Carlin finally found one he wanted to take home and paint! We even got a tiny pumpkin for our tiny human.
We had a lot of fun today, and can't wait for Halloween! I'll post some more pictures when Carlin paints his pumpkin. Thanks for reading!
