I made a tool to make it easier to post youtube videos to Steemit - creating a quick and easy customisable markdown template with the youtube title and description.
This is intended to speed up the posting process for regular video posters , please be sure to customise and add your own introduction before posting.
It lives at :

It looks like this :
Simply paste in a youtube url - I used the latest 
video here :
The app will automatically pull from the youtube api :
- Video thumbnail
- Video Title
- Video Description
- Original upload date
And quickly make a post template ready for you to customise.
Quick copy and create new post buttons
Just paste your clipboard into the new post window on steemit , and you'll end up with a prebuilt post ready for you to customise with your own special touch :)
