Day 2 / Evening at HF Fénix Lisboa
SteemFest officially kicked off with welcome drinks held at the HF Fénix. A bunch of Steemians joined for drinks and snacks.
Later in the evening we got to join and the rest of the Steemit team for dinner. This was officially the first time we got to meet most of the guys we work with.
and myself are the on the mobile team at Steemit Inc.
Day 3 / Centro Cultural de Belém
A bus trip in the morning saw us arriving at the Centro Cultural de Belém. The venue is very modern compared to the centre of Lisbon. Breakfast for the morning consisted of around ten, maybe more, Pastel de Nata's. They really are creamy and delicious. We attended most of the talks in Room 1. Unfortunately we missed a couple of good talks due to the overlapping of time schedules. We also finally got to meet . We have worked with him for the past three months.
All the talks where very good. Some very inspirational, is doing amazing stuff with Steemit and really shows you how the platform can be used for a good purpose.
Another highlight for us was the announcement for the Steemit Mobile App. Unfortunately, due to Apple and their approval process, the app had to be delayed.
Full videos of the live streams an be found on YouTube:
Lunch and dinner where both served at the venue. We then headed back the the hotel to drop off bags and goodies before heading to the evening event which was held at the Snooker Club.
Day 4 / Lisbon Secret Spot
The spot really is a secret. You find yourself driving through forests and windy roads. When arriving you are greated with an amazing view of Lisbon. The venue itself was also amazing. Another modern, contemporary building mixed with a vintage garden terrance.
Talks today were a little more on the technical side. participated in a interview and gave a in depth talk about Steemit.

The event at the Secret Spot ended with yet another awesome dinner and next stop was at Santiago Alquimista. The walk to the venue took us through the older streets of Lisbon. A surprise DJ ( ) got the party started and many Steemians danced the night away. After a long day, we decided to walk back to the hotel an call it a night.
Thanks for reading.
