Talking about Steemfest Withdrawals.....
And being All Time Kia Su!

When @roelandp mentioned to us in the Steemfest telegram (encouraging us to overcome our post steemfest withdrawal) about how we can start budgeting (regardless of location) we all got a lot of hopes up in terms of getting ready for the next family reunion
But then...
Wait a minute. The most affordable ticket to be bought for Steemfest would probably be around 3 months prior...

Which also means we only have 290 days to come up with a steemfest plankton ticket if we do not win any contests...
So based on the initial ticket selling. A plankton price is around €222.22 (if the ticket price never changes)
And for those who wants to pay by STEEM, according to today's price is....

Divided by 8 months....

A month
And if you need to power down prior 13 weeks....

You hardly have any time at all haha....
Best case scenario for lower income group would be more efficient in content creation, and save aside maybe 50% into the savings and 50% into SP (for shorter power down timespan)
Or if you are targeting Euro, then it would be: Approximately...
€ 28 a month
For the ticket
And the remaining balance, let's say from €1,800 overall expenses, would be:
€ 1577,78
And that can be split for maybe 11 months (for enough time to buy air ticket)
€ 144 a month
A month for the rest of expenses
€ 172 a month for the first 8 months, then € 144 for the remaining 3 months
Or... € 5,75 a day
For those who are planning to use 100% fiat currency for Steemfest 5
So here we go. Those who truly misses the extended family and trying to get back to work, would probably have this set aside as one of the fuels of encouragement to be thrifty for the months ahead.. haha.
Would this encourage you to push forth and be even more engaging in the community?
Maybe...
Just to see this happy family again.
Any post steemfest empty-nest feeling buddies feeling the same?
I better start offering more handmade products in MUCH advance for those who are willing to support my trip. haha!
Thank You for Your Time
