It has been a while since the amazing SteemFest3 took place in Krakow, Poland. And even though times could have been better for STEEM since then, those memories created in Krakow can't be taken away from you. Even if STEEM will drop further, the memories will stay. Around two weeks ago, asked us to share our most memorable experiences regarding the SteemFest3. I didn't find too much time for posting the last days, but finally I am ready to answer Eric's call to action. Here we go!
The funniest photo you took.
I don't exactly know why, I just love this pic of the bridge leading to the conference room of day 2! That's just one heck of a line!
The most embarrasing situation you were involved in.
Since we had a lot of fun in the evenings, I basically never returned to my hotel before 2am. Every time I arrived at the hotel that late (or early), I felt like the people at the reception were thinking of me as a guy who just came home from a hooker. 😅
The coolest/most interesting story/anecdote you have about SF.
It might sound boring, but I really liked the moment when ,
and me were just using the ATM at Krakow airport when I heard a female voice talking about a "I have allready met a random Steemian." on her phone. I turned around and said: "You just met three more!". Turned out that it was
(pic of her will come later in this post 😉) who just met
. I know it's not a funny or very interesting story, however it just perfectly symbolizes the community aspect. In fact we met two strangers at the airport - but since we are all Steemians, we immediately had a topic to talk about :)
The photo you have with the most Steemians in it.
Turns out that this pic with 's "SteemMonsters-Bra" and American Vlogger Girl
is actually my pic with most Steemians in it, since there are a lot of them in the background of this selfie. I do recognize SteemMonsters-Founder
and european blockchain-expert
- but there are many more I don't know (or where I don't know that I know them). Go ahead and help me to identify them if you can :)
Your new favorite Steemian (can be three, I know we met so many new people).
: There might be more dogs around with their own STEEM account - But how many of them have been at a SteemFest? I don't know how this dog manages to be that calm and relaxed all the time, he even joined the "Night of Steem" in the club - Definitely some great training by
and his girlfried. I even scanned
QR-Code, however, I didn't get a scan back 🤪
: I need to have some german speaking dude in here, so I take Fabian who I didn't know before SF. Even though he has not been part of the community for a long time, he decided to throw himself into the cold water and just go to SteemFest. Since we share age, language and interests, we spent quite a lot of time together. Glad to have met you Fabian - no homo :P
: I didn't really know her before, but she actually was the first Steemian I met in Krakow. But of course she is not just on this list because of that ;) For some reason she always seems to be in a good mood, which always is nice to see. Even when she needed some medical advice, she appeared to be quite happy. All of this combined with the fact that she has a lot of SteemMonsters in her neckline leaves her in positive memories ☺️
Your overall experience about the whole event.
The most random photography you took with your phone and you don´t even know why it is there.
Once again thank you and
for making my trip to Krakow possible with your sponsored ticket! If you didn't know guys, Partiko launched a nice iOS update a few days ago - check it out! As a little token of appreciation, I have just delegated 500 SP to
. You all can delegate as well - it will even earn you something!
I hope your guys are not sick of #steemfest posts yet :P But at least for my side, this should have been the last. No guarantees though!P!
Greets,
Martin
