Post is a bit late as it occurred over the 27-28th of June and better late than never.
Over the last couple of months has been putting all the pieces together to make these tree planting days happen. They are a local not for profit operating in Lobitos, Peru and one of their main programs is reforestation. They also have a small garden nursery where they can produce hundreds of native tree and plant saplings.
I couldn't be there the full two days, but I saw loads of people (local and foreign) pitching in and making it happen. I helped plant a few, but I think I dug more holes than planted. All good though. Big big shout out to and
for making this happen, as well as to their volunteers. Not sure they are on Steem yet, but if you are please comment below.
In all I believe around 200 were planted in two days and this is just the start.
Ps. I have had a good beard trim and haircut since that video was filmed.
