Okay guys, I've been thinking really hard about how to promote the rise of a great community! With all the new minnows joining, (Myself included) it is hard to convince the whales of Steemit to back us, unless we have awe inspiring content!
Here's my solution!
How do small fish survive in an ocean full of larger, hungrier fish?
The answer,
Schools!
So, with any great solution, there needs to be good way to enact it. Now, here's the better news...
I know how to go about founding this "school"!!!
All we have to do is band together, teach each other, share with each other.
Now, I will finally tell you how we can start...

This is why, because if you follow everyone and support them, they will support and follow you.
Right now we all won't make huge amounts of money, but as I get larger, you get larger, we all get larger(and richer), and pretty soon, when our power grows, we will be capable of raising a minnow to a whale just by the sheer will power of our community, and quickly too!
When one of us eats, it benefits the whole school!
But, if we notice that someone is not being a good addition to our school, receiving but not giving in return, we stop supporting them. No leaches! This way, we ensure the health of the group as a whole!
Now, if you think for one second that this can't work, look at how many minnows are joining all the time. Think about how many people could be seeing your content first hand, if you just agree to support them! And don't think this is whale exclusive either, any whale that wants to partake in the community and also give to it, is more than welcome. In fact, that only means the rest of us will rise to the same station quicker!
Think of the benefits that could come from this! It will be easier to learn and ask questions as a new minnow, gain funding to help out others in the future, more income for each person, which will raise community morale and inspire better content, and much more!
Alone, minnows could spend weeks trying to build up a good name for themselves, but in a "school" it might take just a few days to become a proficient member of this community, and Steemit in general!
So help me, help you, and lets swim together!
