Dragon Quest(DQ) series was a rival of Final Fantasy(FF) series in the past.

But since Squaresoft and Enix joined to became Square Enix + Hironobu Sakaguchi left, FF series lost its magic.

Fortunately, DQ series are still same like in the past.

The story of DQ 11 is about a young man that travels to a Sacred Stone together with his friend, and he found out that he is a reincarnation of Legendary Hero from the past. When he revealed his identity to the King, the King considered that young man as "The Darkspawn" and need to be eliminate quickly. So the young man escaped and he start his journey to find out who he is and why the King want him to be dead.

If you look closely at that young man picture, you might be wondering why that person has similar artwork like Trunks from Dragon Ball series right?

The answer is Akira Toriyama(creator of Dragon Ball series) was the character designer of this game, that's why there are some characters with same style like Dragon Ball characters.

The gameplay is turn based style rpg in 3D open world map. You can explore the open world area and when you meet monsters, you can choose to fight them or avoid them.
