Pixl-latr is a low cost and best answer for digitizing black & white or color negatives and transparencies.
Pixl-latr has only some parts and its very easy to use and handle.
It has :
- Stand
- diffuser
- frame
- gates
- locator pins
How to use?
- For 5x4 film, keep your negatives on the locator pins. Note that it should be within it.
- Now put the frame along with it so that it won't move.
Now keep pixl-latr on light box or even you can use a tablet.
Now photograph the film with digital cam.
you can even Digitise with a mobile phone!
Place your film into the pixl-latr, put it on its stand in front of a window or lamp, and snap away. With apps like the forthcoming FilmLab this will become increasingly easy with little extra expense beyond your pixl-latr and the chosen app.
