A research product of the John Hopkins University, this mind-controlled prosthetic arm is one of its kind because most prosthesis are controlled by movement or muscle flexing. I mean, you have to gesture or move before it functions. Not with this one. If you want to move the arm then just think about it and not move it by yourself. That is empowering and restoring self-confidence of any amputees!

This video provides a background of how the arm came into being. It will also show the actual testing of the arm wherein the user was just thinking about it and the arm is already moving.
