For several years, Nikon, Canon, Sony, etc have all bee competing to be the best camera manufacturer for DSLR's. This new mirrorless camera system each company is pushing is changing the game of photography and is the next big thing for some time. They will keep making mirrorless, but they will eventually replace the DSLR's.
