Sea of Thieves to many people release kind of content light. I thought the bare bones were there, I like pirate games and I like social games when they try new things and now that Sea of Thieves seems to finally be catching up to itself with content.
I thinl it's worth pointing out because the game did a loyal fan base as much as I was burnt out on it pretty quickly like a lot of other games in the style. It's worth pointing out out that there is a community there and they are engaged and they are enjoying the game.
It does have really special moments and if you do find a good group of people to play with, you will have a good time especially if you like pirate games.
There's something special about this game and it's gonna take time for you to realize it's full potential but I think it's getting there.
