Have you seen the bike Casey Neistat has been causing around on recently? Perhaps you noticed the previous version that Jesse Wellens helped make popular?
The new release from Lithiumcycles is the Super 73 S & S1. They look rad. Perhaps I’m biased already liking bikes but i’ve never been very excited about electric bikes before. I find electric bikes always look, well, like electric bikes 😬. I think the rugged bulky look of the Super73 mixed with it’s open frame is a sick design.
When I look at these products I just wonder if I’m a sucker for marketing because I want one of these even if I’m not sure how I would use it.
I’m all for our electric future and I believe you have to win by being better than the alternative not by trying to convince people it’s better for the environment (exactly Teslas approach).
Would you ride one of these things? What do you think of the price tag $2000 USD. I think it’s reasonable, am I crazy?
