what i like about this is that it's a really smart implementation, taking a standard bike, phone app and easy to install and charge -- if you've got a bike you love, being able to swap out that front week and get assisted powered riding is kinda neat

$500 is really not that bad, it's half the price of what they wanted to sell at which made no sense because at that stage you might as well have a decent BMW made electric scooter for another grand more -- i'm kinda digging their design and if all the other components stack up (bluetooth/software/charging) then i think this is a no brainer if you want to 'electrify' your commuting ride.
