Most of the robotics nowadays really cost so much money. But this Dogbot project aims to
demonstrate that you can build a walking robot that can work in human scale world for $1000.
With the help of 3D printing and an open source project, this will really make it more possible. Also, Dogbot helps to provide
a platform for AI researchers to put their theory into practice, somewhere they can test that their simulations work under the difficulties and irregularities of real world conditions.
