Digital Crypto Assets where 100% goes to the artist.
Digital assets usually work like this:
1.) A company releases digital assets like Gen 0 CryptoKitties.
2.) People buy them and then try to create more or sell them on.
3.) The people making the money are the original asset creator and the people who can sell for a profit.
CurioCards is different. Artists get voted to have their cards available... and only a limited number of cards are available for purchase. Once the art cards are sold out, that's it, they can only be purchased off people who bought one already.
100% of the sale price goes to the artist, who collect their earnings in ETH. People can then make their money back or watch as their digital assets (hopefully) rise in value.
It's a great system that supports artists. They accept images and animated gifs.
