Yeah, you're right of course... although Hive account@dtube does the same, and people still seem to use it a lot. I think the balance comes with the big upvotes these apps give their own users. Easier for Hive account@dtube obviously since Steem delegated them some power, but yeah, I understand completely. I did completely rethink if I wanted to even use Hive account@dbook.org since 20% is a lot... but it catalogs so nicely.

I still don't really understand what they'd be taking 20% of... each post in a chapter? Book rentals? It's not clear.
