Hunter's comment
NIKE has come up with this great self-lacing sneakers. It is using non-removable laces which can be loosened and tighten at their own.
It uses a sensor which is activated once you put your foot in it. The sensor is mounted on the heel. When it senses the foot it triggers automatically. It has two buttons on the sides, one for tightening and other for loosening. One is plus and other is minus. You can adjust the laces according to the fit as you require.
When you want to take off the shoes you need to loosen the laces through the minus button and vice versa.
It is using batteries which can run for two weeks on a single charge. The midsole lights up with blue when activated.
Nike E.A.R.L. (Electric Adaptable Reaction Lacing) is the
technology that makes self-lacing shoes possible. It
electronically adjusts the lacing, pressure and fit the
contours of your foot.
