So, here's my plan on how to endorse steemit to my family whose busy at their job and family, especially the jobless. I never tried but I have some list of how to convince them.
First, I must learn all the flow in steemit, honestly I'm not good in crypto either, but I will try my best to explain the steemit schemes and etc. I know this would be hard to explain but showing them some proofs may catch their attention. I must explain first about FAQ in steemit and the most important information in this platform. The founder or CEO and how to earn by posting a blog.
I will search some trending post who gain huge upvotes and show them my curated post that was curated by our own dolphins and was featured in some community. I'm not a blogger or a writer, so encouraging them to make a blog help them build their confidence to become an amateur blogger like me. I know some of them may say blogging is not their type, but there's no harm in trying.
Next, I will show some proofs that It's not a scam site. I know I don't earn much but showing my wallet and some steemians who earn a lot will make them believe that we earn here. Of course, earning in steemit is not that easy, but at least we didn't spend a penny on joining this site. Free blogging site at the same time we will earn while learning something new.
Telling the truth about how's my journey here, how I earn and how the value of steem and sbd fluctuate. So they will not be dismayed by the value and why posting a long post sometimes earn only cents which are normal to everybody. Giving them some pieces of advice not to lose hope especially newbie who doesn't get a huge upvote. Yes, even me, I feel bored sometimes and not motivated in making a post which is a normal feeling.
This site is worth it for people who stay at home who always spend time in other social media but they don't earn. Give them inspirational words that this site is their playground to enhance their hidden talent, knowledge, and skills and will earn much if given a chance to shine one day. Explaining is hard but giving more time to explain to them and make them believe will make it easy.
This is a promising site, it helps us to boost our own interest. So mentoring your invitees will make them feel at ease and safe in terms of using the most important thing the usage of "password". The phishing thing and more. And with the help of some community that always willing to help each steemians to boost their account, I will engage them in some community that I joined.
I think this will encourage them to join this platform, with my simple suggestions and advice. I hope I can convince them someday and it will help them to get some extra income, learn something new, build friendship, engaged in some steemians, and make them believe that they can offer something in the community.
