Finally some training again. I had a private yesterday and went to the no gi class today.
In the private, we did a recap of all the things I have learned so far. It is amazing how fast you forget things. The one week break really threw me off more than I expected.
We worked a lot on the open guard again and the coach showed me some more details.
I still lay a bit to flat on the floor and I have to be more on my hips to be more agile.
My knees should be "aiming" for one of his legs. This way I keep the right angle.
In the group session today we practised triangles.
Some details I want to remember:
Strain my lower legs
The food of the leg which goes over the otheres shine/ancle should face a bit outside.
I stll felt a bit weak so I sat out the rolling and just watched.
I observed a guy, who always seemed to be 2 steps ahead of his opponents. It was amazing to watch. I later talked to him and he was "only" a purple belt but said he is training mostly no-gi.
I also went to hot yoga yesterday, so I am pretty happy with my trainings pensum the last 2 days and I feel I well prepared for my challenge next week of 2 trainings a day.
