The Rough Sketch.
This time around I bring you a favourite subject scenes. The place we call a home. I choose and imagine an old elaborate house that is a bit derelict.Several techniques are used to create the necessary transitions in inking. These techniques is hatching and cross contour considered to be the standard for drawing with pen or ink.But in my way I guess.. ;)
We start with the skeletal image of the house. The main frame must be there. Im a bit sceptic about using ruler in my sketch book.Just go with the flow and mix it together.
Tidy the lines with a sharpie. Then work on the details. Add the surrounding. Many elements can be included such as the clouds, the sky, the greens, the trees....these details frames the house. In inking method try to full fill all the detail elements and balance the dark.
There you go, a run down house probably because it is filled with many kids and pets. If you want to enrich the picture you can add some pets such as cats and dogs and some rascals wrecking havoc to the house and an alarmed and overworked mother. That will be quite a hilarious scene.
Done.
Till next then..
Peace! :)
