Yesterday evening we wanted to create a new email address for a private campaign at GMX.
Don't ask....
After I filled out the thick form on Firefox, entered the captcha, I could not continue. A new Captcha, again a new one and so on. And at the end it says at the bottom, "a technical error occurred".
Thank you, you bums! I already thought I squint and can't read Captchas any more...
Well, the whole then again with the Internet Explorer. Aha! The registration form looks different. Suddenly they ask for my SEPA data. Why? Why only with Internet Explorer?
Again with the Firefox on it and again back with the upper problem.
Completely annoyed closed the notebook and went to Yahoo.com half an hour later.
Hey, almost like in the past: Choose your email address, enter your first and last name, date of birth ready.
I am thrilled!
I got so pissed yesterday because something so simple is made so incredibly complicated and time-consuming. And then at the end not even a proper error message appears...ARGH!!!
Oh, and today I sit on the terrace, looking at the sea and smiling.

Gestern Abend wollten wir für eine private Aktion schnell bei GMX eine neue Email-Adresse anlegen.
Frag nicht….
Nachdem ich das dicke Formular auf dem Firefox ausgefüllt habe, den Captcha eingegeben habe, konnte ich nicht fortfahren. Ein neuer Captcha, wieder ein neuer usw. Und am Ende steht ganz unten, „es ist ein technischer Fehler aufgetreten“.
Ach Danke, ihr Penner! Ich dachte schon ich schiele und kann keine Captchas mehr lesen…

Komplett entnervt das Notebook zugeklappt und ne halbe Stunde später zu Yahoo.com gegangen.
Hey, fast wie früher: Emailadresse aussuchen, Vor- und Nachnamen angeben, Geburtsdatum fertig.
Ich bin begeistert.
Ich habe mich gestern so aufgeregt, weil etwas so einfaches so unfassbar kompliziert und langwierig gemacht wird. Und dann am Ende auch nicht mal eine ordentliche Fehlermeldung erscheint…
ARGH!!! Ach… Ja…. Heute sitze ich auf der Terrasse, gucke aufs Meer und muss lächeln.
